Board Meeting Minutes
Sunday, December 2, 2007, 7:30 P.M.

Gordon introduced new Sandy Springs District 1 Representative Doug MacGinnitie.

Motion to approve November minutes passed.

Laurel David representing Barry Realty presented a proposal for the South Trust bank site (Perimeter Center East at Ashford-Dunwoody ) 20 story hotel and 29 story residential tower. The topic of 40% senior rental in the 330 unit residential tower was discussed. DHA board voted to defer to Feb. 2008.

Dennis Webb representing Atlantic Realty  for a 6 story hotel on Meadow Lane at “Springhill Suites” requested 4 stories of rooms over a 2 story parking garage…requires a slup  for height variance and they are also requesting setback variances for front, rear and 1 side. DHA board voted to approve the SLUP only.

Sharon Collins spoke about the largest turnout yet for Light up Dunwoody.  She plans for more in the future.

Gerri Penn spoke on Code Enforcement issues and was able to meet with the Code Enforcement Director later in December.
